How to apply

  1. Fill out online application through active recruitment program at http://grad.md.chula.ac.th/activerecruitment/program.php
  2. Qualified Applicants for the first round will be selected for an interview online.
  3. Final selected applicants will then register through university system at Online Registration – Graduate School Chulalongkorn University

Required qualifications

Master Program

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent with English proficiency test score (taken within 2 years of the date of admission to the program) meeting the university’s requirement: IELTS: 4.0, or TOEFL: 450, or CU-TEP: 45.
  • Other qualifications per Chulalongkorn Graduate School’s announcement in each academic year or the approval of the Program Committee.

Doctoral Program

There are 2 schemes of studies:

1.1) For master’s degree graduates; and
1.2) For bachelor’s degree graduates.

Scheme 1.1) For master’s degree graduates:
  • Hold a master’s degree in biological science or equivalent with English proficiency test score (taken within 2 years of the date of admission to the program) meeting the university’s requirement: IELTS: 5.5, or TOEFL: 525, or CU-TEP: 67.
  • Other qualifications per Chulalongkorn Graduate School’s announcement in each academic year or the approval of the Program Committee.
Scheme 1.2) For bachelor’s degree graduates:
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent with English proficiency test score (taken within 2 years of the date of admission to the program) meeting the university’s requirement: IELTS: 5.5, or TOEFL: 525, or CU-TEP: 67. 
  • Other qualifications per Chulalongkorn Graduate School’s announcement in each academic year or the approval of the Program Committee.
